Ambassador Zedong lauded Maryam Nawaz’s welfare initiatives like the Nexan Card and Tractor Scheme, and announced plans to train 1,000 Pakistani farmers in modern techniques. He also highlighted China’s commitment to investing in Punjab’s agriculture and involvement in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The ambassador extended an official invitation to Maryam Nawaz to visit China, making her the first woman Chief Minister of Pakistan to receive this honor. Both sides expressed optimism about future cooperation.
