Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan: On Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan saw an upward trend after two consecutive days of decline. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 600 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs 275,500.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 515, now priced at Rs 236,197. This recovery followed a drop in gold prices by Rs 600 per tola the previous day.
While the local market saw a slight rise, the international gold market recorded a 0.4% drop, with spot gold trading at $2,652.62. Despite global fluctuations, local prices continue to be influenced by domestic factors such as supply and demand and the value of the Pakistani rupee.
