Infinix Launches Its First Folding Phone: The Zero Flip
Infinix has officially introduced its first-ever folding smartphone, the Zero Flip, characterized by a clamshell design. Notably, the device seems to be a rebranded version of the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2, given that both Infinix and Tecno are part of Transsion Holdings.
Display and Design
The Zero Flip features a large 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate, reaching a peak brightness of 1400 nits. Additionally, it includes a secondary 3.64-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The device’s fingerprint sensor is conveniently located on the side.
Performance and Software
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, the Zero Flip offers 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, with no option for microSD expansion. It runs on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 and promises 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.
Camera Specifications
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The upgraded front camera is a 50MP unit capable of recording 4K videos at 60 FPS.
Battery and Pricing
The device houses a 4,720 mAh battery, supporting 70W wired charging and 10W reverse charging, enabling it to act as a power bank. The Infinix Zero Flip is priced at $645 and is available in Rock Black and Blossom Glow colors.
