UAE Announces Hajj 2025 Registration Dates: The UAE has declared that citizens intending to perform Hajj in 2025 can register from September 19 to September 30, 2024. Registration can be completed via the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat (Awqaf UAE) smart app or website. Eligible applicants must be UAE citizens at least 12 years old and have not performed Hajj in the last five years.
Priority will be given to first-time pilgrims, individuals with incurable diseases, the elderly, and people of determination, along with their companions. For Hajj 2025, 6,228 slots have been allocated to UAE pilgrims in collaboration with Saudi authorities. Awqaf UAE will handle permits, medical services, and logistical support. Awareness campaigns and hotlines will also be available to guide pilgrims.
Hajj, a mandatory Islamic pilgrimage, is usually organized through licensed operators, and expatriates must register through their home country’s quota.
